Toys Renting in Malaysia

I was introduced to this concept by my cousin sister who lives in Singapore. It was a brilliant concept to rent toys for baby or toddler especially when you do not have or do not wish to spend huge amount of money buying new. After all, we will never know if our baby loves to play with it. Some toys outgrow very fast. List can go on on why it's better to rent than buy.

Well, the down side of renting toys in Malaysia, through my own experience, there were not many suppliers. There may be a few in KL but the logistic fee and renting procedure cab be quite troublesome. We live in Penang. So I need to look for suppliers in Penang.  Another reason why some parents will not consider in renting, if they have concern over the cleanliness of the toys. I personally will sanitize it again even it's mentioned by the supplier they have sanitized prior release to us. If  you are lucky, you will get fairly new toys. Most of the toys are being recycled and sometimes the appearance may not be appealing.

Google works for me and i found Rentatoys Malaysia. Their price fairly reasonable and after few months of dealing with the owner Ms. Lim, i found her quite easy to work with. There was occasion where the toy rented was in old condition. Therefore i will only go for those higher rating like 9/10. Their logistic fee was the cheapest and they uses KTM courier. I had good experience with them. Sometimes i will drop by personally at her place for drop off/collection.

I found the second supplier LullaBaby Land . You can also look for her through facebook "LullaBaby Land". Chloe is a very happy, cheerful, helpful and kind lady. Her toys are very new. I did COD most of the time as she was nearby. Her varieties may not be as much as Rentatoys but you will find what you need there.

These are the toys I have rented for Baby J. He was a truly blessed baby. Most of the toys i rented for a month and exchange new items subsequently. The most could only be 2 months. I save the hassle of finding place to keep them and Baby J had chances of enjoying different activities.

Rented this exersaucer when baby was 4.5 months old.
